Nicholas Jemwa & Fungai Mujuru - Vocals and Dambatsoko Tuning Mbira 2006
Nicholas Jemwa & Fungai Mujuru - Vocals and Dambatsoko Tuning Mbira 2006 Nicholas Jemwa loves to sing! Enjoy his soaring lead vocals, and lower mahonyera, together with Fungai Mujuru's gentle rocking on Dambatsoko tuning mbira. The mbira was recorded with a deze (resonator), giving it a leathery tone, as compared to the clearer tone of Dambatsoko mbiras recorded without dezes. This recording will be excellent for mbira students who wish to learn to sing with Dambatsoko tuning, as well as those who will enjoy playing along with the Dambatsoko mbira. Recorded 3 June 2006 at Harare, Zimbabwe by Erica Azim. Tuning: Dambatsoko. [Total time: 78:04]

Fradreck Mujuru & Fungai Mujuru - Dambatsoko Tuning Mbira 2002 The Mujuru family have been mbira makers and great mbira players for centuries.
